Catholics From 4 Dioceses Gather to participate at

The 2nd annual Northern California Lay Convocation

Approximately 100 Catholics, active in lay ministries in parishes met on the campus of the University of San Francisco to focus on addressing the challenges identified at last years NorCal lay convocation.This year, the group mixed theory with practice and focused in on three of the issues identified as problem areas in some of our local parishes.

BISHOP GEOFFREY ROBINSON (Retired Auxiliary Bishop of Sydney, Australia)speaks to standing room only crowd at the University of San Francisco

Campaign For Accountability

 

We now have interim results from the three Diocesan Surveys VOTF affiliates conducted for the Accountability Campaigns. The surveys assessed the extent to which dioceses employ Best Practices in three areas: Child Protection and Survivor Support; Financial Accountability; and Church Governance.
